Green Tea MatchaMatcha has a bright and strong green color and is especially used in traditional Japanese ceramics. It is obtained from tea tree leaves grown in the shade. After the leaves are collected, they are exposed to steam, dried and passed through a process where the stems, veins and other impurities are separated. 'Tencha' is obtained, where only 10% of the first collected product remains. Finally, tencha is usually powdered very slowly by hand grinder.
