Organic Green Tea SenchaSencha, a special Japanese tea variety, is obtained by steaming carefully collected tea leaves for 15-20 seconds, then curling, heating and drying. Sencha tea, which has a stronger and even slightly acrid taste when brewed with very hot water, has a soft taste when brewed with water at a lower temperature (for example, at 80 degrees water temperature). It is the most consumed tea variety in Japan. The taste of Sencha green tea varies according to the season in which it is collected. The first harvest, covering April and May, is generally known as the most delicious Sencha.
